Great on bare wood
I recently sanded down an old cabinet (picked up at the dump) and was thinking of varnishing until I read about beeswax. Was put off buying beeswax polish at my DIY as they can contain fillers. My cabinet has come up beautifully - I can see the natural grains of the wood and it has a beautiful warm finish. I expected it to be greasy but not at all. Very happy.
